Jack - 2 1/2 (never posted from last year, he's 3 1/2 now!)

Ooops, I never posted this from last year...

Happy 2 1/2, Jack!  The little guy was so excited to turn 2 and a half on November 11 and immediately started answering "I'm two and a half," if anyone asked.  He is such a fun, easy-going 2 year old and he brings so much joy and laughter to our family.

Stats:  Jack measured 37 inches (70th percentile) and weighed 30 lbs (50th percentile) at his check up last month.  They weighed him before taking his shoes and sweatshirt off, so I'm pretty sure that added an extra pound to his lean frame.  He's never been in the 50th percentile for weight before.  He wears mostly 3T shirts, 2T pants, and size 8 shoes.  His 18-24 month pants still fit around the waist but they are way too short.

Sleeping:  Jack is still a great sleeper.  He went through a phase recently where he was crying before bed but thankfully he's gotten over it and is normally happy to get in bed.  He always wakes up happy in the morning and is content to sing and talk in his crib until we go get him (usually around 7:30).  He goes to bed around 7:30 pm.  He still takes a nap about 90% of the time, from about 1:30-3:30.

Play time:  Jack is such a great independent player.  He is still obsessed with fire trucks, fire men, fire stations, etc.  His prized possession is a $1 matchbox fire truck that Mimi gave him in July 2013.  He refers to it as "the fire truck that Mimi gave me" and if we can't find it, the entire house gets torn upside down until it is located.

This is the sweetest little 2 year old on the planet!  We LOVE this little boy!
